We undertake performance turnaround of the utilities in areas of electricity, water and gas. Whether a radical change is needed or a minor alignment will suffice, our teams start by diagnosing the root causes of the challenges at hand. Then we design a tailored solution to address these challenges. Finally, we implement the improvement plan. Our support ranges from short-term advisory support and training to full-time executive management of the company.

We are a team of industry professionals who are passionate about helping challenged utilities overcome their difficulties. Our team started working together in early 2000s, initially at The AES Corporation in efforts to turn around the performance of the newly privatized Telasi. Later, the team joined a UK based Management Consulting firm - PA Consulting Group to undertake a holistic transformation of a state owned utility in Georgia - the United Energy Distribution Company. The success of these efforts prompted the members of the team to share the experience and the know-how with the international markets. By joining a US based consulting and engineering company - Tetra Tech, the team successfully led a number of utility turnaround projects across Europe, Asia, South America and Africa. We have turned around utilities in the most challenging environments. In 2018, the core team members who had worked together for over a decade, decided to establish an employee owned company - Utility Turnaround so that we could pursue our passion independently.
